This is a nice campground in the city of Springfield, IL. The campground has gravel streets and pull thru's. The sites are grass that is mowed regularly. The campground is not intended for children as there is nothing to entertain them on sight. The benefit of this campground is its location. Visit the new Lincoln Library and Museum, the IL State Capitol, etc. 1 mile to restaurants, grocery's, hardware, repairs, shopping. On site well-stocked RV store, great propane service. Easy access from interstate. Nice quiet place to stay while visiting Springfield, IL.

Great wooded campground in a state park. Very friendly folks, very good paved roads, sites are gravel or paved and mowed grass patios with tables. Good spot to camp for visiting New York City as the train station is a 2 mile walk or drive from the campground. The train station is located at the entrance to the park and will take you to Grand Central Station in New York City. When its time to leave the hustle and bustle of NYC, this is a good place to retreat to of an evening.

This is a rural campground just off of state highway Rt. 32 4 miles south of Sullivan, IL. The campground has paved streets and some sites, most are gravel sites and patio's. Good maintenance makes this a nice quiet park to visit. As of July 5th, 2006, the campground is undergoing a rather large renovation and will be closed until mid 2007. When it re-opens, there will be approximately 150 camp sites. The area is shaded and is situated on Lake Shelbyville, a 15,000 acre recreational and great fishing lake. There is a small playground, there are usually a few kids here as this is a family oriented campground. Things to do include fishing, boating, theatre, hiking, Amish country site seeing. I have stayed here many times over the past 3 years and it is a nice place to camp.

Nice campground on Lake Shelbyville, IL. Paved streets, gravel pads and sites with picnic table and fire ring. Most sites are 30amp electric only, a few 50amp full hook-up sites are available. This park is a Corps of Engineers ru park. It well maintained, clean and neat. Lots of shade and lots of space between camp sites. There are close swimming beach sites, they are the first taken so reserve 14 days early. Adjacent to Lithia Springs Marina, a full service, well kept marina with 400 slips. They offer houseboat, pontoon boat, fishing boat and party barge rentals. The marina is privately owned and operated. The area is neat and well kept. 14 day mandated maximum stay. Great place to bring the kids and dad's fishing boat. For more information about the park call (217)774-3951

An OK park. Fair interior roads and pads, gravel and grass sites. A good place for casino goers, not much else there. Nothing very close either. Many casino RV resorts have paved sites and pads with 1st class amenities. This is more like state park level of accommodations. No bad, not resort like either. Was clean, neat and secure.

Very nice. Paved streets, pads, patios. The facilities are spotless. The pools are lined with ceramic tile. They have a Gourmet Restaurant, 2 Heated Swimming Pools with Jacuzzi, 2 Laundromats, General Store, and the nicest, most hospitable employees. Its a really big parking lot with full hook-ups and list of amenities. No trees or shade. Definitely will stay here again!

This campground is near the Grand Ole Opry and everything that goes with that. It is easy to find with good roads, fair interior roads and gravel pads with concrete patios. Two Rivers provides great entertainment on weekends, up in the pool area. All of the employees are as nice as you will find in the country, very accommodating. The campground is a great place to stay if you are site seeing Nashville, close to the hot spots, close to shopping (Opry Mills). A real nice Camping World is next door. Definitely will stay here again.

Nice west coast park. Paved streets, sand pad and site. Great view of the Pacific ocean from our site. Sites are somewhat narrow and stacked on each other. The shower and restroom facilities were older but well kept. The entrance to the resort is very steep, be prepared as it is approximately a 12% grade. We were in a 45,000 pound class A and did not have trouble, although we were intimidated. The resort is on the land side of Highway 1, with the ocean then being across Hwy 1 from the resort. When it is in the peak summer season, make sure you bring plenty of Comet to sprinkle around your rig as the ants will try to join you. With the Comet, there was no problem with the ants. Very well kept and secure. Definitely would stay here again.
